"Work It Out" is the second solo single by American R&B singer Beyoncé, taken from the soundtrack to the 2002 film Austin Powers in Goldmember—in which she plays Foxxy Cleopatra—and later featured on the non-U.S. editions of her solo debut album, Dangerously in Love. Released in 2002, the The Neptunes-produced single failed to chart on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, but did experience moderate success on the Billboard Hot Dance Music Club Play chart where it debuted at #49. Although it reached number seven on the UK Singles Chart in the summer of 2002. The funk-influnced song features Chad Hugo on the saxophone.


The music video for the song was directed by Matthew Rolston. It begins as the movie ended, Foxxy and Austin applauding as if the movie was over. It's got an old-school theme to the video and Beyoncé uses her Foxxy appearance for the video.
